It is hard to believe, but it's that time of year when we start getting prepared for our upcoming Spartans hockey season.
We have a few updates for you.
ARENA START DATE: Tentatively, we will be starting our season in Flesherton on August 31st (weather dependent), as it may be difficult to make ice during a heat wave. This means, as of today, we will have 43 days until our Spartans hit the ice. Dundalk Arena will start around or shortly after Thanksgiving weekend.
TRYOUTS: Tryouts will start shortly after our opening date, on August 31st, so be prepared for updates and keep an eye out for the tryouts calendar. Please check our website regularly and social media for updates.
Tryout signups are open for 2025/2026 fall tryouts, Spartans U11, U13, U15, U18 and U21 Representative teams. Tryout fee is $75.00. Once players have been chosen for the rep teams, a registration link will be forwarded to those parents. There is no requirement for tryout players to register until after tryouts are complete.
REGISTRATION: Local league registration will open soon. All U5 through to U9 players are to register through the local league registration store. Those players NOT wanting to try out for U11 to U18 rep teams will register through the local league registration.
When registering your player, verify that HCR has your most recent and valid email. The email you register your player with is the email we use for communication.
FYI, Spordle may require missing documents to be uploaded through the tryout signup or registration process.
REGISTRATION RATES: We are proud to say we have been able to leave our base registration rates the same as our 2024-2025 season. We currently have some of, if not the most affordable, rates in our surrounding Area.

PICTURE NIGHT: Picture night is tentatively scheduled for Monday, Oct 27th at the Dundalk Arena starting at 5:00 pm
