PREPARATION FOR MODIFIED GAME PLAY
Our executive met Nov 10, and we are beginning to work on organizing our rostered teams for modified game play, and are hoping to be ready to go by early December.
These will be new, different, balanced teams, not the teams kids are practising with on a weekly basis to develop their skills. Our goal with this is to have players of the same calibre on the ice playing 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 shifts during these games.
We have a sub-committee that will work with current coaches to split the kids in this manner, and VP Rob Reed will be overseeing this group. Please be patient, as this is new to everyone, but also direct any question you have to your own coach or Rob R.
These games (with refs) will be added to the schedule as we go, so please sign up for email notifications about schedule changes to help stay informed.
